but you must understand
you’re the one putting me through this.
If you don’t like yourself in this light
then maybe you should step up.
Walk a straighter path
and you won’t find yourself slipping
on uneven ground.
Sadly, no matter if we mention this to them or not, nothing will change unless they want to. And this is an acceptance that is sometimes unbearable for us to take.
I imagine a lot of ghostwriters have that moment when the person says, “You did it wrong!” and they just want to roll their eyes.
As a beginning ghostwriter this is literally how I would feel if my articles are rejected, I know its silly and it is a slippery slope.
